Michael and Laurens wedding took place at the beautiful Maple Lane Farm in Johnson City, TN. This venue holds a special place in my heart since it is where my husband and I said our vows almost eight years ago. Holiday Florals and Gifts blew me away with the stunning bouquet and Laurens blue shoes gave me all the feels. The details for their wedding were perfect.

There were so many personalized touches for this wedding. Their daughter wore her great grandmothers barrette as well as the first set of jewelry that Michael had given to Lauren. Lauren had a piece of her fathers shirt sewn into the hem of her dress and she wore her great grandmothers ring as well a necklace from her aunt.

When I asked Lauren what made her fall in love with Michael she said that she loved how he soften the hard ridges of her personality. They are opposites that truly compliment each other in every way.

The reception included dancing, visiting with family and friends and a very special performance by Lauren. She surprised Michael by singing him a song during the reception while her step father played the guitar. It was hard to find many dry eyes after she finished singing.

We finished off this perfect day by sneaking away for just a few more portraits in the vineyard. I love it when my couples let me steal them away just one more time before the night ends. Thank you two for letting me share in your sweet day.
