I don’t get to do it very often but when I have a open Saturday and get the chance to second shoot with one of my really good friends the answer is always yes! Jessica, the beautiful face behind Shutter and Bloom was not only the main photographers for this wedding but she was also the matron of honor!
The flowers from Love and Bloom Farm were unreal and Meghin would take anyones breath away. The combination created a ceremony was straight out of a storybook. The families cried happy tears as these two exchanged their vows. I had to fight back tears myself.
The fairy tale continued through the night with the reception. Any reception the includes donuts from my favorite spot, Hole and Corner Donuts, will automatically become something straight out of my dreams! Ben and Meghin dance the night away and I was lucky enough to share in the smiles and a few donuts of course!

Lydia’s family farm was beyond perfect for her senior session. When you pull up and see beautiful light, cows, and a tire swing you know it will be an epic session. Lydia is so sweet and beautiful. She looked as effortlessly beautiful sitting in a jeans and tee shirts in a field of cows as she did walking through a field at sunset. I had so much fun working with you. Thank you for letting me wander around this beautiful farm with you. Good luck with the rest of your senior year!
I have always heard that is is good luck to have a little rain on your wedding day. So when it won’t stop raining that has to be a amazing sign! A marriage is symbolized by a knot and a wet knot is basically impossible to untie. When you ‘tie the knot’ on a rainy day your marriage and bond is hard to unravel.
Joby and Breana’s day was so beautiful and most importantly filled with so many smiles and so much love. We had to adjust and move the beautiful setup indoors but everyone was so eager to help make the adjustment as quick as possible. The rain ended just in time for the fog to roll in over the mountains. I always sneak my bride and groom away for sunset portraits when I can but this time it was for the fog which has become my newest obsession.
Everyone ate cake and the kids danced in the rain. It was a beautiful day and I am so thankful I was able to share in it with this sweet couple.
