Aaron+Noelle

I met Noelle years ago when my family stopped in for lunch at The Ladybug Cafe in Bristol Virginia. Noelle instantly clicked with our son who was 2 1/2 years old at the time and we all became friends and regulars to the cafe. I first met Aaron when they booked a lavender session with me in the summer. To say it was hot would be an understatement but the lavender field sessions are so magical that is always worth it.
When they booked one of my Christmas minis and I was excited to work with them again. Aaron messaged me a few weeks before their Christmas session to ask if he could propose to Noelle at the session. I screamed out loud with excitement when I read his message. A million times yes!!! We worked out a plan to make it go along with the session and posing. Needless to say she said yes.
Fast forward a few weeks and a wedding date is set and we picked a date for their engagement session. It was actually warm in December when he proposed so it was only fitting that we experience all the extremes and freeze for their engagement session. A big winter storm of ice and snow was headed our way so we decided to bump up the session time to beat the snow. Aaron joked that instead of editing out sweat I might have to photoshop his frostbitten fingers from their engagement session. We went from dodging sleet to trying to brace ourselves in the icy, arctic winds.
Noelle and Aaron laughed and smiled the entire time. You wouldn’t ever know how cold it was their engagement session in Abingdon Virginia. They were just genuinely happy to be together celebrating each other. When I said run to the car we are finished though their smile did get a little bigger.
