Summer wedding at the Historic Loretto Mansion in Wytheville VA
This was the epitome of a perfect summer wedding in Virginia. It took place at the historic Loretto Mansion in Wytheville Virginia. Deacon and Allison tied the knot on a sunny summer day when the temperature never went about 75 degrees.
This is the second wedding within a year that I have had the privilege of photographing for the Beamer family so this felt like spending the day celebrating with extended family. The Beamer cry is infamous and made several appearances throughout the day. Talk about a heart melter. From the personal letter exchange to three first looks everyone had cried multiple times before the ceremony happened.
Deacon was my first groom to do a first look with his mom, aunts and grandparents and it is something I am going to recommend going forward. Their reaction was perfect. Allison did a first look with her grandmother that left me in tears. They said their vows on the side lawn at Loretto mansion surrounded by their friends and family. They incorporated communion as part of their ceremony which was a beautiful moment of unity for the couple. The wedding was followed by a beautiful reception on the lawn.
Their friends and family know how to celebrate. Everyone enjoyed a delicious brunch followed by tons of dancing and lots of laughing.
Congratulations Deacon and Allison on your perfect summer wedding.
