After five years of dating Allison and Deacon are engaged and are counting down the days until their summer wedding at Loretto Historic Mansion. When Allison reach out to me I felt an instant connection and ease and that is what I am always looking for with wedding clients. I want them to be able to be themselves around me so that I can capture their true emotions
Allison loves that Deacon is patience with her and I watched this in action during their engagement session. He helped her twirl, climb up the steps, and brush the hair out of her eyse. The way Deacon looked at her during the moments in between melted my heart. They truly care and look out for each other.
Half of their engagement session was spent strolling the beautiful grounds of the historic Loretto Mansion and the we headed to Deacons family farm to catch the sunset. The iconic yellow barn on the family farm has quickly become my obsession in Wytheville Virginia. We wrapped up their session by having them lay in the grass and breath in the moment (before jumping up to check for ticks).
I’m counting down the days to June when I get to hang out with this beautiful couple again and capture their big day.
