Belcher Family Newborn Session
When this Abingdon Virginia family contacted me contacted it was just a a few weeks before the due date of their sixth child. Sheena wanted to book a newborn session for her family at my studio in Abingdon Virginia. When she told me she had 5 children all I could imagine were the sweet snuggles and smiles as these siblings loved on their new sisters. Big families steal my heart every single time. The dynamic and the intense love in this family was so incredibly sweet to watch. One of my favorite moments was letting each sibling have their own portrait with their sister. They were each so gentle and proud in their own way. Charlie is the youngest at 2 years old and he did so incredible laying beside his sister.
Sheena and her husband hadn’t had professional portraits taken in 15 years. Time is a thief, especially when you have kids. Years fly by in a blink and you wonder where all the time went and what happened to your tiny babies. Tangible memories that you can hold, see and use the relive these sweet and fleeting moments are so precious.
It was an honor to capture these moments to live on the walls of the Belcher family. They picked out a canvas, matted prints and an heirloom album that they can look through as a family of their favorite images. My favorite moments have now become crafting the perfect collection with each family so they walk of the my studio in holding the images from their newborn session that have stolen their heart.
